Hi Folks...I'm new to the LUV scene...I have a 79 4x4...Does anyone know for sure the clutch size (7 1/2 inch...?) for 1979. And it seems from my research so far that maybe the clutch size went up to 8 1/2 inch for 1980. I'd like to know before I tear mine down as I live way up in the mountains and would like to have the correct new plate waiting to put right back in so I can keep my daily driver on the road the same teardown day.....Thanks....Eddie (EVOEDDIE)

i belive you r correct but if i'm not mistaken you can just install the 9" disk and change the pressure plate but as far as when they changed the 8.5 to 9 :?: :esad :?:
