To go into 4 wheel drive. Never owned one this old before, do I turn the hubs by hand? If so, which way is in? Which way is out? THanks!

They should have "lock" and "free" on the hub. Lock is for 4wd free is for 2ed.

Well there is no "in" or "out" with the hub, you either turn it right or left for lock and free as rondog stated, I just don't remember whether it is clockwise or counter-clockwise, but I am sure you will be able to figure it out. We do say "in" or "out" when the 4x4 is engaged though! :)
