I had 31's on my 4x4. They fit but would rub during braking and on the rocky trails. I now have new shocks on the front and am running 235/75/15's with no problems on the street. If you are going to run off road you'll definitely want to stiffen up the suspension all the way around, or you will be rubbing a lot.

Emo, what kind of and how much lift do you have to run the 235/75's?

I have 235 75 15s on a 4X4 with a 3 inch body lift and the back of the front fenders are cut a little. It still rubs on a sharp right turn.

I haven't done anything to the suspension except replace the front shocks with new shocks. I have about 1 inch clearance from the fender well to the tire. No body lift either. I am going to add stiffer shocks and look at raising it by 1 inch in the suspension. I don't need the truck sitting too high.

Well my plan is to put on a 3" body lift, new shocks and whatever tbar i've got to, to get 31/10.5's. that's the plan anyhow.

The 31's should fit right now. But there won't be any clearance for off road. I think if you can massage out an inch in lift you would be ok for light mudding.
