hi, Ive got a 1980 chevy luv truck with a 3" body lift on it. I Jacked up the torsion bars up about 2-3 " and put 28" tires under it. I was wondering if there was a place where you could buy a longer leaf shackle, or I also heard someone tell me about an Add-a-leaf kit. Are they worth puttin on there? I dont know. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks, Nick.

Summit has several add-a-leaf kits that will work with the Luv, but I wouldn't go that route personally as it make the back end a whole lot stiffer. longer rear shackles would be the way to go, this site has them http://www.independent4x.com or you could make your own, or go the auto parts store route. also shackles for Toyota mini trucks should work as well as they have the same sized springs.

Not sure if this helps but I added air bags to my 02 K2500HD to level out the rear.

that would work too, would have to use a universal kit or one built for Isuzu pickups/leaf sprung suv's

I am new to Luvs... Hoe do you adjust the torsion to increase ride highth in the 80 4x4? If I max it out, will I still keep driveability?
