Great choice; good for you! Good people to work with; I purchased the setup myself several years ago.

These brakes are sweet! Can't wait to "brake" these in. Thanks to Aerospace Components Inc. For the awesome brake kit and awesome customer support! LUVLEE is coming together slowly but surely.

Long over due update.
Well the engine fits with the trans. Just need to add the trans bracket, then I can start peicing the coolant system. LUVLEE is coming together more n more.

Got a Honda radiator with fan and shroud installed. Also a small intercooler for the tiny horsepower 350hp installed. Intake manifold installed. Missing brake master cylinder until I get it bench bled. Working on centering trans mount, thanks Derrick for welding an extension. And working on clocking the turbo to make it work. Thanks Jusmx141 fixed my stripped bolt holes. More to come!

Another long waited update:
Shorten the rear end 8.8 to match same length on both sides, overall WMS to WMS is approx 56".

Finally rear end installed, bushings installed, brake lines fabbed and installed with brackets welded up, wheels and tires mocked up with full weight of truck. Next is to install brake master cylinder with brake fluid to check for leaks, and start mocking up fuel cell then electrical harness.
Thanks for following, Merry Christmas more to come!

Minor update. Electrical is almost done, wrapped in sheathing. Then I made a gauge cluster for my LUVLEE and wrapped in carbon wrap. Used some equus gauges and autometer boost gauge and black one is innovate wideband. Still need to work on battery starter and interior connections. Driveshaft is in the making. Thanks to Jeremy Nutt for helping me on the electrical portion, I think I have everything to make it start for the first time in a couple of years.

I know there's been a lot of hard work on this, but the dash panel (and cluster) is what caught my eye.

Nice work!

Jack

Thanks Jack!

Cruzin' in my 7 8... Hittin' the boost!
Around the block. So far no over heating issues after new bigger rad install. Need to do a cruise tune once it's registered and insured. Can't wait to take on the streets.
Car show pics coming up this week.

Here is a vid of me cruzin!

Now that is just Bitchin' The wheels look Awesome on your truck. They should make a HW step side just like yours, I would have to have a few of those. 8)

I am hoping the Aerospace brakes go on sale for black Friday again this year. I think I need to pull the trigger.

Updates from the last 4 months: long haul to the Dyno, working on the floor pans, painted floor pans, added dynamat.

Kinda disappointed in the HP #s (made 262hp), I wanted 300hp+ to the wheels. Small intercooler stopped it from happening, High Intake temps which caused some small knock, turbo is not very efficient.
New intercooler coming soon... Also picked up a 1984 trooper sway bar to reduce the sway a little bit. Carpet does not look like its going to fit well, I think its made for a later model LUV (ebay carpet), but will make it work.

From what I remember is 16x7 10mm offset in front and 16x8 0mm offset in back.

Sweet! Thank you. How’s the clearance on the calipers? Do you think 15’s would fit? Sorry for All the questions. I’m planning a budget Chevy Luv build that I plan to start in February and 15” tires are cheaper lol

15" may work depending on offset, but you may want to talk to Aerospace component brakes to see what is the minimum wheel size you can go on their brakes.
