Hi to everyone here.
I have a 1984 LUV orange pretty much stock.
I had picked up a LUV last year and ended up trading it 4 months later to a friend for a 1960 impala I love my impala but immediately missed my LUV so last week I finally talked him into doing another trade and got my LUV back!!! It's here to stay now. I had originally purchased it from a kid who had it shipped to mass from Oregon......and there seems to be a few of them on here.
There is a lowering kit on the truck now but I think I'm going to return it back to stock it rides much Better that way.
It has a fuel cell in place of the original tank under the bed.
Everything else is 100% stock.
I had originally purchased this truck the day I saw it bc it was a vehicle I have never seen before and it was funny as all hell looking.
Then as many people here. I really just fell in love with my LUV. I drive it daily in the summer.
Upgrades to be done this summer to make it perfect for me.
Seat re done.
New rubber floor mat or carpet can't decide
Fix replace or do a dash over kit bc there is a few good cracks in it.

Good lookin truck. I'm pretty sure it's a 74 though, not an 84.

Really nice looking truck. My guess on the fuel tank swap was the old one rusted out and stock one couldn't be found. Post pics of the fuel cell when you can, others here that can't find a tank might find it helpful.

Actually it was my dumb ass fault the kid I purchased the truck from the first time took it out bc the sending unit went and he put a boat fuel cell In the bed and just left it. ...........I didn't think anything about it and during my move 6 months ago it made its way........... to ........the ........dump ........ ;(
I'll put some pictures up of my fuel cell with the custom made neck to go to the original filler cap
The truck is clean as all hell just faded paint and crappy interrior and the interrior will prob be all new in 2 or 3 months and will look better then stock!!
Anyone now about any mini truck meets in the north east region? Ma ct ri ny nh vt
