Hey All, I bought this poor little 79 4x4 back in November for $900 delivered. So I've been reading through the forum since then, lots of good info and help, and I have needed allot of help with this poor LUV. Not sure if I should do a thread on project build, it's more of a fixing what has been done to it, a bit of a mess.

Thanks, The body is in good shape. Some surface rust here and there, couple small holes in the bed and drivers side floor but the metal is still solid in those areas. The wiring under the hood was a mess, burned and spliced wires everywhere, in the process of rewiring everything under the hood. Hopefully I can get it started today, been trying all week but no luck. Pertronix ignitor issue, called them twice already but still no spark. Going to check a couple things this morning and try again.

One for the books, did the test on the Pertronix unit and it works backwards, even tech support was surprised and could not explain it  I've been trying to get this thing to work for days, checking and re-checking all my connections, looks like no LUV today, hopefully next week when the new part arrives.
