Hey folks,

I just wanted to take a minute to introduce myself. My name's Bo, and I'm in Arlington, Texas. I just bought my second LUV, a 1979 4x4. Back in high school in the 90s I fixed up a 1978 2wd LUV, and I'm looking to do the same with this one.

Here it is:


Right now it's squarely on the ugly side (I'm pretty sure that's white house paint covering the faded/rusted original red.) But the frame and drivetrain are in good shape. And the interior won't take too much work. (The dash isn't cracked. I might be able to just clamp and reglue the warped places down.)

Anyway, I just thought I'd say howdy. Though this is my first real post, this forum has already helped me out a ton. So thanks, y'all!

welcome to the site. I grew up in hurst, and in the late 80's, cruising Cooper was the thing to do. Now i live in the frigid north. I really miss Texas!
