Damn...I don't have the cash to drop on that now...but I am finding them on CL for 50-150. I wonder if I could buy just the linkage for it or would I have to buy the whole damn set up.

BUT On the bright side, I did get all the tune up parts(points, condes, cap, rotor, carb rebuild, plugs, wires, 2x fuel filter, sea foam, and a oil change). I'm going to have to wait for the electronic ign. and the windshield (he was closed :/)until wednesday.

I'm still looking for my emblems(hows that hunting coming along love4theluv?) lol. Front driver blinker/turn signal bucket and lens wednesday also.

SHOOT I gotta go to the parts store, forgot a new headlight today.

BTW, Is there a way to keep my initial post and the first few replys here and transfer the rest of this to a new topic like say...in the restoration section? Let me know. Thanks guys talk to you soon. off to the parts store.

highway driving i would estimate 25 mpg if i cruise along at 55 like it is geared for i can get a bit more. i made it to seattle and half way back on a tank cruising at 55 around town i tend to get a lot less because i rev more than necassary all the time.
the electric choke is pretty easy to wire up its just one wire. i have mine hooked up to a relay triggered from the ignition switch, thinking about hooking it up to a toggle switch.

 robin hood the emblems
a craigslist weber would probably work for you but you would need to get the right jets and the adapter plate, or pick up one of mokadeth's offenhauser manifolds and it will bolt right up
