Been poking around on here for a long time and finally decided to join. Glad to know Im not the only female on here. First luv was a 74 2wd. Absolutely loved it! Upgraded to a 79 mikado 4x4 all stock yellow one. Kick myself in the butt for selling that one cause it was clean. Now have a 80 Mikado 4x4 and a 79 Mikado 4x4. We are currently parting out the 79. Which is an original Washington Good Chevrolet truck (have original window stickers and everything). To far gone to put it back on the road. Have had more than a dozen parts trucks that we stripped of everything. Two walls in my 1000sq ft shop are dedicated to Luv parts. So if any one needs anything I probably have it LOL. Will get some pics posted as soon as I can of the ones that I have now. Husband and I are both Luv lovers... excuse the punt... We are located in Bonney Lake WA... This pic is of the second luv we owned.

Very cool. Welcome to the site. Lots of info on here, but it sounds like you guys already know your way around a LUV pretty well. 8)

Mytmouz,
So you like to eat the meat, but you don't want to kill the cow, eh?

LuvTruckFamily,
Looking forward to some good shots of those walls. In the context of mytmouz's comment, I picture them thick, dusty, and almost haunting. Parts do kind of creep up the walls, don't they? I've only owned my truck a few months, and I've got a growing presence of wall-parts, no signs of stopping. Welcome to the site and thanks for offering yourself as a resource for parts.

Thanks for the welcome everyone. Going on 14 years of loyal Luv ownership. It would probably take a dozen photos to get all the parts I have on here. I keep joking with my husband that we cant save them all.

P.S- I have the factory parts manuals so if anyone needs the stock part numbers to try and cross reference let me know.

P.S.S- I probably have a couple of spare tire tool kits. Been lucky in the respect that most of the ones I have found still have them.

The are kinda creepy sometimes when you walk in there and the lights are off... Afraid I'm gonna get attacked by the Luv Gremlins..

I would like a spare tire jack and jack twisting thingy for my '75. And I'm just a few minutes north of you in Auburn.

Let me know how much you want for one in a PM.
