Odessa Texas finally got a day under 100 and finally got rain! So just a quick hello and thanks to board members for all of the available info. Just Scored my second a Luv a '78 Mikado 2wd all stock! This was a 2 owner truck when i got it with 77,000 original miles! Clean and a daily driver, now what to do? Leave it unmolested or,,,, on one hand We have no need for another fast vehicle as we have a ACTUAL 250 hp 202mph streetbike, a smallblock blown Jaguar and a few other toys, so leaving it stock is tempting but so is the call of the smallblock! I've had it since Friday night and I did install Chevy 1/2 6 lug wheels and backed off the torsion bars and dropped the overload leaf,,, but maybe its time to stop.

Nice looking truck man. The wheels really look good with that stance. I'd say drive it till you get bored with the 4 and then drop in a Small Block, or sell it to me. lol

Yeah it was definitely a score but here's the funny part, when I went to call the guy back I couldn't find his ph# so I googled "Chevy Luv Abilene Tx" 2 things came up, the truck and a V8 motor mount kit nib! Double score! Top that off with a narrowed Dana I already had,,, yeah it's definitely going V8 in the future.
