Hi,
i dont own a chev luv yet but i do own a 1969 Isuzu florian which is basically the sedan the luv was styled after. Since i have collected a few parts for this car i thought a ute version of the florian would be cool.
So now i am on the look out for a chev luv ute here in Australia that i can bolt all my spare florian bits on!
(I have been told that i have to get rid of one of my other cars first though!)
have loved all the info the site has and have been reading alot of the posts, so much info!
any way cheers for letting me join
Paul

well its been a while since i joined up! I now finally have in my possesion a 1976 Luv! Its a 2wd tray top, needs some work on the engine (blown head or gasket i think).
Plans for now are to clean it up and get it running, then put as much florian bits on it as i can! (also would like to get rid of the tray top and put a tub on it at some stage)
I will put some pictures up when i can!

yeah mate i have seen that for sale and i would love to have it, but i have no cash at the moment, so i did not want to waste your time! you probably know the luv i got anyway, it was on ebay about a week ago!
i just need to work out what parts of the florian will fit the luv and then i may have a list of spare parts to sell (then i may annoy you about a tub!)

Im guessing it was the Adelaide eBay Luv you purchased, looked to be very straight and rust free. I passed that one up as i currently have a SWB Jackaroo to put back together ready to race. Retired the old Luv today from 4x4 park duties and dragged it home today, the Jackaroo will take its place.
