New to the Chevy Luv scene, picked up my first luv for $200 from an old lady that was unable to drive anymore. They had it parked and assumed it had carb issues but the points werent adjusted so 10 minutes of tinkering and she fired on the old gas and all, quite impressed. Would post pics but gotta figure out how still....

yeah i figured it out. but since the pics i put a weber on and cleaned up some of the surface rust and sprayed some primer over it to prevent it from coming back. got a master cylinder on the way should be here in like 5 days or so. not sure what im gonna do with her, kinda wantin to keep it for a daily driver. thought of doing a prerunner but im not that skilled to be tearing apart the a-arms and fabbin extended ones yet.

Nice find!
But prolly shouldn't get water in the breather tube on the back of the valve cover... noticed that the engine compartment looked wet in the pics, and the hose that goes to the aircleaner is gone.

LUVs are wonderful little trucks if you don't expect them to be speed demons. Welcome aboard!
