hi all. Just joined. I've got a 79 Mikado bone stock with low original owner miles. My plans are to moderatly customize but keep the engine stock and well maintained, as it was. This site is an information goldmine and I look forward to trading stories and parts.

Mine's stock, just .030" overbored, with electronic ignition and a Weber carb. Runs perfect. Welcome here Devron.

No. I got this one from my bosses friend's dad. (follow that?) Anyway, He bought it brand new in 79' and maintained it to a T. He kept all the paperwork and had it undercoated a couple of years after he bought it. Turned out to be a good decision given our winters here. Besides the exhaust manifold, this baby is perfect. I'll post pics soon.

I have been to Winona a few times. I don't have any pics but would like to see some pics of the truck. I just talked to a guy who knows the guy who owns the truck. Guess he bought it brand new and it was it first new vehicle. So he isn't going to let it rot away. Not sure what year it is???
