Hello, I'm a new luv owner. '79 4x4 gas. I live in the Dallas area. I bought the truck to go hunting. There are some pretty deep mud holes where I hunt in east texas. I need to be able to drive my luv to east texas and need the 4x4 to keep from getting stuck in the boonies! Truck runs but not good. Plans include rebuilding carb, completely de-smogging (smog exempt here if older than 24 years,) two-inch body lift, torsion crank, add-a-leaf, and 30" or 31" tires on 15's. Already got some junk yard Trooper 15's.
