just bought a 78 luv and cant wait to get started.i'm a drag racer first of all but i'm still trying to decide what to do with this tiny little truck of mine.i have the desire to make a race truck out of it.but a street type deal sounds real good to me.i'll beasking many question real soon. mike m. texas

yes i finally got the luv this past sat.it has been raining here for the last week and sat.was a nice day. it is now at my good friend's shop and getting ready for some mods.this weekend i plan on starting the roll cage and taking the truck apart as far as the motor/tranny.i'll take the advice to make it a street/strip combo since i managed to get a clear title for the truck.ct when does racing season start for you.i managed to get registered for pinks all out at san antonio raceway on march 7/8 2008 i'll be racing my 78 malibu that weekend.mike m texas

the season started two weekend ago at HMP/BAYTOWN but the weather was so bad (cold) i kept my but at home.I run the 1/8th mile because of my set up and gearing, hotrod on here ran the pinks event here in houston last year truck looked good.good luck with the pinks event and yellat me if i can help in anyway. :D
