Hi All,

I'm new to the Board. I really miss the days when LUVs were a prevalent truck. I've had three: a '72 Series 1 and one each 79/80 4x4's, red and light blue respectively. I always wanted more power in them, but could never really fault the trucks. Except for some warped heads on the 1800's, I never really had serious issues with my trucks. When I gradueated from college, I wanted a bigger truck, traded my 2 4x4's for a '77 Dodge 1-ton 4x4 dually with a service body. The jury is still out whether that decision was good or ill. The Dodge was stolen two years later. The blue LUV still was going strong.

Now I have Mitsubishi Monteros and a Dodge Raider (clone). I saw a 1980 4x4 LUV with a service body, yellow, stock Mikado model a few years back that I should have purchased.

Ah well,
Russell
