Hi,
I'm Mike from AZ, and have a 78 Chevy LUV, with 1.8 L 4 speed manual stock truck. My kids and I decided we want to convert it to electric.

Has anyone here done this?

We're looking at 2 different approaches:
1st, replace the engine with a motor, requires making an interface plate between the transmission and new electric motor.
2nd option uses a direct drive, dropping both the engine and tranny.

Any suggestions?
