Welcome to the site. What part of Alabama are you from?

I'm currently living in Meridian, MS, just a few miles from the AL line.

Let me see if I have this straight.
1. Crankshaft sprocket dot to layshaft primary sprocket dot.
2. #4 piston at top dead center will be on compression.
3. Crankshaft timing pointer at top dead center mark on balancer.
4. Laysft secondary sprocket dot at 2:00 posistion.
5. camshaft sprocket dot at 6 degrees past 12:00.
6. Triangle mark on casting pointing at line mark on camshaft at 12:00.
These steps must be performed with chain slack taken up in direction of rotation which is clockwise.
