Ok guys I am the proud new owner of a 1978 LUV for only $100. I have been told it has a bent rod but not sure yet. I know nothing about the 1.8 or the LUVtruck for the fact. I am trying to get as much info as possible before I dig in to deep. I want to keep the little 4 cyl for gas mileage purposes, besides I have a V8 S10. What can I possibly do to the 1.8 to get slightly more performance without breaking the bank or going overboard. I found a turbo kit for a 1.8 Mazda Miata that I think would work perfectly if I make a turbo manifold for the LUV. Any help and opinons will gladly excepted and greatly appreciated.
