Well I jumped into a forum discussion earlier in the week and failed to introduce myself. Well it all began once upon time in a Galaxy far far away..and no I don't smoke anything just LUV crazy that's all. LOL
Anyway a friend of mine nearly five years ago purchased a 79 Luv 4x4 for 500.00 drove it about three months and she blew a head gasket and freeze plug. A year later he was tragically killed and since he and I had talked about fixing up the truck his mother gave it to me after he passed away. I've been working slowly on it all this time. About two weeks ago I was able to purchase a 1980 4x4 Mikado Baby Blue at about 27,000 Original Miles supposedly she all stock/original. So far one of the Cleanest all stock Luvs I've seen.
She will arriving at my house later next week. ERRRRRR it's worse than when we were kids waiting for x-mas. LOL
Anyway she's a show truck (The New One) so far the only show she's been in while being out classed still brought in an Honorable Mention so I'm excited about the whole thing.
...If it hadn't been for my friend I'd have never given these trucks a second thought. Heck I didn't even know they existed. Anyway I'll keep working on his and perhaps someday finish. You guys on here seem really cool.
I hope all of us Luv freaks can all meet up someday and check all our trucks out. It's Amazing all the things you have guys have done with your trucks and I'm glad to be part of all the LUV....see ya'll around in the Forums Later
