Well the old engine is out of the truck, The vortec 4.3 engine is out of the blazer, removed the kia seats, removed the stock shifter console, installed prelude seats, installed a camaro/firebird console, Installed a B&M ratchet shifter for a overdrive w/ hammer t handle, Installed a Mikado steering wheel, Installed s10 rear end, and started some minor body work.
I did some wiring both repairing and just simply cleaning up last night.
I will be removing the bed so Redluv80 if you want to help come on over
I am debating on what to do with the fuel delivery system due to the vortecs high pressure set up. I am thinking about one of three things using the high pressure pump and fabbin it up in the stock tank, mounting a s10 truck tank in the stock luv location, or mounting the 16 gallon blazer tank in the rear of the truck and placing a filler neck on the inside of the bed approximately behind the driver side tailight. Any other ideas?
The vortec setup requires 65 to 75 psi at the injector rail. So that means using a pump rated at about 100 psi. So either I will have to make the blazer pump work or find something else that may work. Anyone know of a semi-cheap pump out there that can put this much out?
I'll post some pic with the next progress update.
