I just joined recently. I bought a 78 last week and am in the process of removing g180 and 4 speed tranny. I am going to put in sbc and th350 with ford 9". It will take some time to do but, i hope to be up and running in about a year. I will have questions because this is my first build since high school. Alot of things have changed. I know that guys building originals are always looking for parts so, let me know what your in need of, I am pretty sure we can make a deal. I don't want the complete engine and tranny to go to waste. If someone can tell me how to post pics I will do it soon. Pics ready for what my 7 year old daughter has already named "Mater" ( ie: Cars the Movie) Lookin foward to advice.[/img]

I bought a 1980 Luv long bed today. It was quite an experience. I drove 100 miles (from Duncan to OKC) and while I was half a mile away the wiring to the ignition melted. I still think it was a steal at $440. Low Rust, engine needs work, good glass and mirrors.
