Hello everyone !!
I figured after lurking here for almost 3 years and benefitting repeatedly from the info on this site,it was time for me to introduce myself.
My name is Kelly and I live in Spokane,Wa.
Married with an almost 2 yr old son.

I acquired a 78 LUV longbed with no drivetrain almost 3 years ago and that was when I discovered this site.
The 78 was/is a buick v-6 conversion project that has been put on a back burner for the time being.
As luck would have it about 6 months ago a buddy of mine asked me if I'd be intersted in another one like it,I said "Sure,if the price is right".....
Went to look at it and the owner said it had run pretty good for about a year for his son,then it started running rough.
The son put a tune-up on it and it ran even worse.
Son got a new truck and parked the LUV.

That's when I picked up my 79 LUV longbed,1.8,4spd,ac..............

Brought it home,did some browsing here before anything else and had it purring within 45 minutes,she was wired backwards.....LOL

I bought a boat from my next door neighbor once, He knew is wasn't anything serious, and just wanted to get rid of it, but his wife thought it was toast. An hour later they come out to go to dinner with my $ and I have it running in my driveway. He knew I would and didn't care, but she was like WTF??? I thought it was broken!!!

Nice to meet you, and I'm sure you already know that this is the best website around for Luv Truck owners.

Maybe some time we can "meet" up on a weekend.
