Welcome Nigel ! This is a great site for any LUV info that you need, as in life depending on the area or how far you are willing to travel there is always LUV to be found  Check the classifieds section for a LUV that could be in your area.

Most questions can be answered utilizing the "Search" button, but if not feel free to post a question in its correct category. . . and again Welcome !

Austin

You don't have to worry about the nice enough part. Some of just try to keep em running. We all understand that these trucks are 25 years old and we have beer budgets.

As far as finding a truck, If you travel much just take some back roads and look in the fields and behind barns. I'm sure you'll find a LUV that you could save for cheap. Sometimes the one that is not up for sale is the best deal when you stop and knock on the door.

I did it, I found a 1975 chevy luv... problem is it's in portland oregon area. Is there anybody up around that area that would store the truck for me till the end of october sometime when I can go pick it up for the chance to take parts off the engine ect... I want to put the trucks body on a first gen s-10 frame and stick a 350 possible 383 stroker in it so anytihng esle the storer could have. The guy says the engine looks like it will run if the head is replaced, because it looks warped.
