A little about me. I'm going to be 40 years old on the 16th of September and about 24 years ago me and my dad had a LUV truck. I was a teenager with Heart problems and couldn't play sports. So my dad and I baught a 74 LUV truck. That's when it all began. We were into cars and customizing so it only made sense to start on the LUV. We first started with installing a 305SBC and th350 tranny. We took it to the local drag strip and ran a woping 16.08 and thought that we were the bomb. Well it go boring real fast so we decided to build a better motor. Enter a 355cid SBC making around 480HP.... Now it starts to get fun... We eventually ended up tubbing and 9" Ford rearend with coil overs and full race alluminum.... The best the truck ever ran was 10.02 1/4 mile and that was all motor. Those were the best times of my life and now I would like to start one with my son who is now 7 and loves trucks. Problem is I live in Florida and can't seem to find one to start with. Any help would be nice. I don't want one done I would prefer just rolling chassis to start with. If anyone knows where I might find one please let me know. And kudos to the site builders and all the owners out there.... You guys have some awsome rides and they bring back some really great memories for me.
