Hey everyone, I've already read a bunch of threads and posts and this place is where it's at if help on a Chevy Luv is needed.
I bought a 1980 Mikado 4x4 last summer for $225. Needed battery, tires, ALL new lights, brakes, and some good cleaning. Runs good now and I just use it to putt around in the country and to go mud boggin. I poured gas down the carb and put a battery in it and it started right up after sitting for over two years at a tractory part supply place at home.
No modifications except matching tires
a sunpro tach, glasspack, and a CB radio w/ PA speaker. Also I changed transmission/transfer case fluid, and front and rear axle fluid. Just some basic P.M.
Hopefully I will drive it for a beater during the winters here in Nebraska to keep my cars off the road.
When I bought it with 3 borrowed wheels and tires to drive it home.
