Hi everyone, I just got a 79 Luv, but owned another 79 Luv for many years. As a matter of fact it was my first car. So, I do have extensive knowledge and experience when it comes to these little buggers. My old truck I did everything from rebuilding the engine to interior remodeling. I sold my old truck when I left Hawaii (Military), and I have been missing it ever since. I have had tons of cars in my lifetime, but none of them ever brought that feeling of joy that the Luv truck did. Right now the Luv that I got has the stock 1.8, but it will eventually get a V8 and become the ultimate toy. I am thrilled that there is a website out there that is dedicated to the Luv truck and I am glad to become a part of it. Hopefully I can get some picks to the moderators.

where u from randall?

Currently I am living in Maryland. Hopefully my Luv wont disintegrate into rusty little pieces living out here. Been thinking about putting some POR-15 over the frame and undercarriage. Where do all the Luv meets take place? CA? Seems all the cool stuff happens out West. Later, RF
