 Post subject: 72 Luv new to the site

i have a 72 chevy luv with a 305 chevy motor and a 350 tranny,it has a 8inche rearend out of a mustang...future plans are to swap the motor to a built chevy 350 and fix up the tranny,maybe change the rearend to a chevy and tubbed it....

yeah thats where i got it from...i was goin to get another one from up there it was like a light orange one almost look like pink but the guy sold it

thats the one i was tryin to get!! lol thats a nice truck..yeah the truck works great, it need a carb,distributor,battery and thats pretty much it,do you have any other pic of yours?

some other pics of the luv...ill keep posting while im doing updates on it! im planing on gettin a cowl hood (but not sure what size to go with) maybe tubbed it and put a roll cage on it..might keep the original bench seat it looks clean with it or go with bucket seats,im adding a full cell on the back and the battery to

today i race my truck vs a 94 ford lightning i beat him 2 times so we didnt race the 3rd one lol,my truck only has a stock 305 with a bad timing chain and stock tranny,gears and street tires that are almost gone!! my plan is to drop in my built 350motor and built 350turbo trans. drop in some 3.55 gears and put some good drag radials on it! hopefully ill take down faster cars! CHEVY LUVS ROCK!!! HAHAHA

THIS IS MY OTHER LUV THAT I HAD,SHOULD I DO THE SAME ROLL CAGE OR SHOULD I JUST KEEP IT SIMPLE??? THIS LUV WAS A 76 AND THE ONE I HAVE NOW IS A 72

dressup kit(valve covers N air cleaner)

i also painted a solid black stripe (but planing on painting the whole truck)
