I feel like I'm flooding these forums with goofy questions. But I will not be able to sleep at night until I figure severel things out.
Yet again, I am wrenching on a 1980 Luv with 2WD, automatic trans., and the stock 1.8L.
At 45 miles per hour my truck feels as if it is revved very high. I am under the impression that this is making my engine run hot. Is my stock threespeed trans not ment to run at highway speeds for long distances?
If so, what do I need to do in order to run at highway speeds for LONG distances?
Thanks,
-AJ
