Hello it has been a while since I have been here.
I have two Diesel trucks forsale. Will only sell together.

1981 luv Diesel, 4x4 short bed, bad engine. around 171,000 miles
1982 luv Diesel, 2x4 short bed, bad frame runs and drives. around 172,000 miles it has power steering.

$2000.00 for both trucks.

I have started to pull the engine in the 4x4, almost ready to come out.
Have a new oil pan gasket for the 4x4 since you have to use the 4x4 oil pan when puting in the new engine. For older outdated pics check out the images on this site when I bought the truck. I bought the 4x4 off ebay in 2003 from Mo. with 92,000 miles. The timeing belt broke in the summer when I was going 65mph, I have installed the new belt, push rods, and value train, but the engine locked up when trying to start it, so it must have dropped a valuve or blew a pistion.

I also have a 4x4 s-10 with a small block(350) 3" body lift. It is midnight blue runs and drives. New starter, and some new wiring. It has flowmaster mufflers, a tach, oil press, temp and fuel gauges. B&M shifter.
New tires on the front, body is tight and a little surface rust no holes.
it is titled as a 1985 GMC, but has a 1992 s-10 front clip to make it look newer. It is a wild ride for sure. $1700 obo

Please no dreamers if you are at all intrested and would like to talk email me at rhodeliss@aol.com. I live near Clevland, Akron, Mansfield Ohio

I have no way of talking photos

Hey Woody, you want to let go of your 2.2 S-10 while you are at it? Make it a 3 diesel truck package deal?

I also have a wrecked luv with an almost complete engine that has just over 90,000 miles, so I guess we could make it a 4 diesel truck deal.

But I am very fond of the diesel s-10 I bought it with 145,000 miles on it and it now has 264,000 miles on it. I still get 45+mpg when I drive it. I run a cap on it seems to help alot. I have just put a lot of time and money into the s-10 to make it more reliable. Every time I think that I get somthing better I park the s-10 and that somthing better failes me, and I bring the s-10 out of retirement. I just replaced the rotors, brakes, calipers, wheel bearings, alt, belts, brake lines, complete exhaust from manifold back, winshieid, hood (dam hood wasn;t latched flew up and knocke out the glass that sucked) I put a luv fuel tank on it off of the wrecked luv untill I can get the s-10 tank fixed and new tires and newer stock rims. I have a new front clip for it and my junk yard buddy has several beds to choose from. I had planned to re do the body on it this summer and have it painted. It is been a great truck for me.

Nothing against diesel luvs, but the s-10 has been a far better truck as far as matence and reliabity. It seemed like I was always fixing somthing on the 4x4 luv. Wipers, hoses, heatercore, transfercase seals, brakes, fuel lines. I suppose those trucks are fine in Japan. In short I was fixing things much sooner (in milege) on the luv then on the S-10. When I bought the 4x4 luv it had a lot less miles on it then when I bought my s-10.

As you can see I have luved the s-10 and contunre to luv it, it would take a real good deal for me to let them go. All of these trucks have been driven, they are not cream puffs.

Closing I guess I will enterain most ideas, or offers, but am very attached to the s-10. For that matter if It gets warm here, I will just make the swap on the 4x4 and just drive it. I though I was doing good with these luvs, but the fact of the matter is, they salt the roads here, and I have two luvs (both 2x4s) that have bad frames, the 4x4 was bought to drive in the winter, it has a good frame, but whats the point of having a 4x4 if you can't drive it in the winter?

Let me know. rhodeliss@aol.com or leave me a priv mess.

Sorry, all trucks have been pulled off the market. The truck that I wanted to buy has since been sold. No need to sell my diesel junk now.

Woody
