Does any1 know what kind of pressure the water pump on the diesel puts out? I've got an Idea on using a different kind of hose for the heater hoses.

I'd have to think that the pressure on the system is the only pressure you'll need to deal with. The coolant is circulating so there isn't a head of pressure to speak of. Whatever the radiator cap is rated at is the only pressure you need to think about. Automotive water pumps are made to move a volume of fluid, not to create a pressure load.

I was thinking of using some sort of clear hose for the heater hoses instead of the black rubber, Why you may ask, you could see the cooland circulating through the system and give the motor a more custom look I think, so all I have to worry about is getting some hose that is rated to about 170-190 degrees and at least 13 psi. rated. Awsome.
