Hey guys i just bought a 78 chevy luv it had the 1.8 gas in it but the owner before traded it out with a 1.8l diesel i think... It runs strong we had to pull start it because the wiring in the truck is bad. so we are gunna sell it cheap so let me know

Yeah, you haven't been around long enough to know me. Look in the gallery under Jon Negaard and you'll see my "Family Cab" Luv. My '80 Luv 4x4 is now long gone...

Don't take things too literally around here or it'll do nothing but piss you off. Oh, but you've already been there I guess...

Do you still have it for sale? and...

Want to know two things.


1 will this engine bolt to a gas transmission in my 81 4x4?
2. what state are you in (shipping...)

Yes we still have it for sale. We are in flagstaff. Arizona. I think it will hook up to your 81 trans becuase i have a 82 luv diesel and the bolt configurations seem to match. but i will look tonight and will get back to you

It all depend on the shippin frieght you use and how much it weights. The buy would have to pay for it and send us the shipping tag and we will bring it to the dock and ship it from there. the engine i guess weights around 200 to 300 lbs
