I rewired my LUV and all is pretty good but I'm having trouble with the wiper motor...any ideas? Also I might need a new wiper motor (replacement actually) and anyone have a decent rear bumper?
I'm having a few issues getting my heater rewired am I missing something?
thanks
Monty

Monty,

Heaters are not wired. Fans are. ;)

The blower fan won't run until the Charge Warning Relay closes. If it's wired correctly, that normally happens when the engine is running and the alternator is charging.

Do you have a shop manual with a wiring schematic? You will be lost without that.

I'm not exactly embarrassed but a little. Actually I knew the heater wasn't electric but that isn't how I worded my question. The portion on the blower thought interesting I'll do some homework and thank you very much.

Sorry, I wish I could help. But I don't have know of any good sources for 1st gen parts.

Does anybody know if the 1st gen wiper motors are the same as 2nd gen?

Jack
