I have a chevy luv diesel that still has engine and transmission in it. The body is fairly eaten up. So my take is it is worth whatever the engine and transmission is worth. It appears to have most of the trim and all the glass is present. So there are some good parts there. How much do you think the value of this is and is there anything in particular I should look for that buyers might be interested in? Would ebay be a good place to sell this?

A couple notes, the seller has a clear title in hand, seller has owned it since '94. The current and last operable condition is unknown. I believe it to have been sitting in a barn since around '97 (best guess).

Can you post some photos of it, and tell us what part of the world the truck is in? I'd avoid eBay and Craigslist if possible. This site and IsuzuPup.com and maybe the PlanetIsuzoo.com forum would be your best places to list it.

I finally drug this out of the barn and took some pictures (Have been busy selling other equipment this summer)... I apologize for the long time between posts.

You can see pictures of the truck at this link: https://flic.kr/s/aHsmbYBaXV

Unfortunately the hood release was broken so I couldn't get the hood open. The engine is there, and I assume complete. It has a manual transmission. All of the glass appears to be good and there are several other pieces that look good. The hood doesn't look too bad. BTW, any ideas on how to get this hood open without tearing it up? When I went to pull the hood release I felt the cable snap and the cable just came right out of the sleeve.

I will join the other forums and list it. Will also post under the classifieds on this forum. I'm taking best offer on it. The junk will be cleaned out of it. The actual condition of the engine and transmission is unknown. The seller has the title. It is located 10 miles SE of I465 out I74 from Indianapolis, IN.

Well I finally got around to listing this thing and just threw it on facebook. for apparently too low. and my phone is blowing up. message about every 10 minutes. I'm about to yank the ad and start over. Which I wouldn't do normally, but don't know if I said this before i'm selling it for a widow neighbor who only lives on SSI. So can someone take a peek at the pics on flicker and tell me what I should take for this thing.

Please post pics here.

A year ago, you'd have been luck to get $800 for that (due to the rust). But it seems the market has recently spiked. I saw a Facebook post today saying a guy got $6,500 for one at a dealer auction (in above average condition).

So I'd start high. It's much easier to lower your price than to raise it. ;)

I added the files as attachments, hopefully that works. Any suggestions on where I should start for a price?
