I have #3 right now that is creating a misfire. I will try and clear that up this week with an additive cleaner. If need be, I will tear them down and clean them out, but I would rather replace them with new ones. I will be rebuilding the nozzles myself. All I need is the part numbers for the nozzles and the tips if you have them.
Yep, if one cylinder isn't firing and compression is good, it must be the injector.
I was unaware that the nozzles were a separate part. I'll ask around and see if I can get the numbers for them. What are you calling "tips"? The pintles?
Do you have a pop-off tester?
I'm researching the part info. In addition, whenever you remove one, there's a crush washer that should also be replaced.
