I'm not sure where you reside , but if you live up north of the 48...you should use a good oil like Rotella- T...and think about using antigell in your fuel...deisel fuel has a tendency to turn to a jelly when it gets into frigid temps . Canada..is the best place to get the good stuff! You can get it at any truckstop... I drove big trucks 48 and Canada for 7 years, and when it got cold i would cover the radiator with a cover to keep the heat flowing through the engine.. thats why ya see alot of big trucks with mesh on the grill .... it might be best to flush your radiator...and then add what you need as far a anti-freeze...depends on where your located . I also used to add airline anti-freeze to my airlines....but i don't think a luv would need that. O' yea your filter should hold up under winter conditions...but ya should always think about changeing it as needed.
