I need to know what the bell housing bolt pattern is for a 82 Chevy luv with the 2.2 deisel motor. If any of you know what it is or a link for me to find it that would be so so helpful! Thanks!

Can you clarify your question?

Ok I recently pulled my engine out and replaced the rear main seal and oil pan gasket and put a new head set on. Right now I'm in the process of putting the motor back in. Now on my bell housing the bolts that I have for it are different sizes. Some are long and fat and some a shorter and a little skinnier and some had nuts on the back and some didn't. I completely forgot where they each went I just know they go on the bell housing. So I'm wondering if anyone knows a bolt pattern or a diagram or something that would help me out? Also is it common for there to be so many different sizes on it? Thanks!

The two largest ones (with nuts) hold the starter on. I don't remember the others being different sizes.

The starter bolts are larger and longer, and they have nuts on them. Seems like they were about 4". They're too large to fit any of the other holes.

Ok I got the two bolts on the starter and put the head on, I didn't have time to check out the rest of the bolts for the bell housing. Thanks for the help there! I would've never found this out haha

You're aware the transmission has to go on BEFORE you bolt the starter, right?
