I have an 82 2.2 non turbo 4X4 luv considering putting a turbo on it and was wondering if anyone knows of anywhere aftermarket intake and exhaust manifolds and a turbo might be found. I have had no luck watching for them on ebay, craig's list, etc.

Second question

I know the injection pump is different on the turbo in that max fuel is determined by plenum pressure not atmospheric pressure. Could the mechanism on the pump that performs this function be changed out, is it available, and what are the specifics as to its installation and plumming etc.

I am considerably more than a novice under the hood and would not consider anything along this line a more of a challange than I can handle. I know this is a long winded question probably with an equally long answer so I thank you in advance for your replies.

Thanks I saw and was inspired to do my own by that thread and figured the turbo was the easiest part to obtain the manifolds and fuel limiter was my largest concern in finding. I was also wanting to add to the information that I found in that thread so that I may may make it closer to a "factory" application.
