NOW FOR THE ODD PART SOME OF THOSE RETAINERS WERE CAST WITH BOTH OF THE PIVOT BOLT MOUNTING PODS ON THEM, BUT THEY ARE IN DIFF LOCATIONS ON THE GAS VERSION AND THE DSL VERSION, SEEMS ODD THEY DID THAT , SO TO MAKE IT BRIEF IF THE FRT RETAINER FROM THE 4 SPD DSL HAS 6 BOLT HOLES IT SHOULD WORK ON THE GAS TRANS TO CONVERT IT TO THE DSL TRANS
ONE OTHER NOTE IF ANY OF THE TRANS HAPPENS TO HAVE THE LOWER FRT COUNTER SHAFT BEARING THAT IS A NEEDLE BEARING IT WONT WORK FOR THE DSL SWAP, IT MUST HAVE THE LARGER BALL BEARINGS AND THEY ARE THE SAME BALL BEARING FROM 81 UP INTO THE MID 90,S , JERRY
