i just bought a 1984 s15 excab with a 2.2 diesel the juy ran the trany out of oil the input shaft is burnt the botton shaft were the front bearing goes is burnt off what other trany will fit or can i get parts to fix this one i live in mn thanks

thats a very rare find.

the bell housing on the S-10/15 is not the same as the LUV and pup isuzu diesels :(

the S-15 got a T5 trans where as the LUVs/PUPs got a isuzu made MSG trans.

you can put that bell on a diffrent T5 trans "I THINK" not 100% on that......

David is correct about using another T series transmission. Go real fancy and find a T-6 and you will have a extra gear. Here is a few pictures of that tranny out of the truck. And if by chance you don't want to fix it. Then by all means..... I am very interested in the bell housing itself. When and if that time comes.

itonly has a little rust in the excab part nowere else i think it has under 80000 miles on it this guy bought it from a farmer it sat in his shead for 7 years i will get pics of it on saturday i no the trany are hard to find i found one they wanted 175.00 pluss shipping for it but it had a broke tail housing on it what else is broke ??

i found a gas trany but the input shaft is difrent i thougt about take the guts out of a gas one and putting them into a diesel case but i dont no if the input gear are the same
