Hi all... I've got an '82 LUV who's dashboard oil 'idiot light' has been on permanently for the last several weeks. I am concerned about oil pressure, possibly wrecking the engine, etc.
Has anyone installed a mechanical oil pressure gauge on your truck? Where would I look for the existing sending unit?
Worse yet, is the oil pump easy to access should it come to that?
I am running standard diesel Shell Rotella 15W-40 for motor oil. Is this too viscous/thin a motor oil?
