I posted earlier on the chassis upgrade section but was told I would have better luck here. I am currently working on getting my 1980 four wheel drive luv back on the road. I just got finished rebuilding a 2.2 liter diesel out of a 1982 luv and have it installed. My question to you guys today is how I should go about wiring the newer alternator with the vacuum pump to work with my older trucks wiring. I know the older model is externally regulated is there a good way around this. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Matt
