Has anybody ever upgraded their alternator? I did when I had the gas motor but not on my diesel because of the vacuum problem. The stock one isnt cutting it. I was looking at the ones off of the commercial isuzu trucks. They look the best and have a vacuum pump on the back like ours, but only (from what I found) 70 amps. I got a lot of electric stuff on my truck, it would be nice to have 100 plus amps. :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: Any ideas???????? :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?:

I read about someone who added a second alternator, but it was no a truck without a/c. The second one, of course, did not need a vacuum pump.
