I want to convert my A/C system in my 82 LUV to R-134. I found one port on the accumulator (I think that's what that is) near the driver's side headlight. Now, the dumb question: Does anyone know where the other port is? I believe it's the low pressure port?

On my 80, it is right at the back of the compressor.

Hmm... I've looked there. Nothing but hose going to the compressor. Is it under the flange/block on the compressor?

On the curved metal tube coming out of the back of the compressor. Should have a metal valve cap on it. It's vertical and you'll be looking straight down on it. And yes. It's the low pressure side.

Found it. It's on the back of the compressor (literally) I was looking for it to be inline on a hose. I initially thought it was a bolt. Thanks for your help! :D

If this is the low pressure / suction side of the system make sure to charge it with vapor as there is nothing to prevent valve damage to the compressor from liquid charging .
