The one thing that I really like about frybrid is the physics that they include in their design. As stated by nukeday, it is very important to get the WVO up to temperature before injecting it and to do that reliably, the frybrid system looks really good.

They're pricey, but they don't do it halfway. If I had to choose one, that would be my choice too.

I wouldn't suppose heating the oil above 212* would be an effective way of dewatering the oil?

I don't know. But that would not eliminate the need to preheat before injecdtion, that's to allow it to atomize better, not for dewatering.

Oh I understand having to preheat the oil, I was wondering about dewatering. I'm thinking I'll "cook" the oil before putting it in my oil tank in my truck (it's a 5 gallon tank), I'm hoping doing so would remove most of the water. I'm guessing the 5 gallons would last me 2 days. I don't think condensation would have time to set in. I drive 125 miles round trip every day.

Yes, pre-cooking and filtering are still required before putting it your truck. Once clean and 'dry' sitting in the tank for two days wouldn't be a factor.

I've always wondered about the pre-heat thing. I ran WVO for a few months, and always scooped out the oil on the top, that didn't contain tallow. I never ran a pre-heat, and never had any issues at all. The only issues I had was with used transhydraulic oil, and it coked the injectors. I'm certainly in NO way knocking the pre-heating method, but am wondering (out load :) ) what difference it would have made for me.
