New to the forum and luvs, just thougt I'd say hello and give a link to a pic of the luv that I saved from the scrap yard. She's been sitting for 13 years in a field and this pic was taken after we drug her out a few weeks ago. 1982 Luv Diesel, 2wd with 115k. After cleaning all the chimpunk nests and hickory nut shells, we put a battery in her and she turned over like a champ, but an intake valve was sticking. A little wd 40 treatment and bam! She's running like a top. Lots more to do, but she is mobile! More updates to come.

Good luck with your project. It is a worthy undertaking.

I resurrected my '82 after buying it for $400. It has been a great running workhorse for 7 years.

Lots of knowledge and helpful folks on this forum.
