 Post subject: painting galvanized

In my Solid State class were are starting to build some power supplies as a project. We basically went to Radio Shack and bought a kit and we build all kinds of little circuits and whatnot. But anywho, we made a case out of galvanized sheet metal. What prep work do I have to do to this if I want to paint it?

when i use to roof we would rub galvanize down with viniger and let it dry and that was all we did and the paint stuck.

i clean it good and scuff it with steel wool for good measure. paint will prolly stick without scuffing but i did it for good measure
