Whats up with the hand brake? Can he control left and right rears individually with that handle? Or is it just locking the rears at the same time? I don't know anything about drifting really, But it looks like he moves that handle to the left and then pulls on it , which leads me to believe he can brake the left and right separately.

I think all that is is a parking brake. Like I pull mine sometimes in parking lots to do shitties. Same thing with that but he has 8 times as much horse power.

Whats up with the hand brake?

I didnt see the hand brake but I saw this car in the LA Times here a week ago highlighted for the Irwindale Raceway event.

Now after looking over that car more, and I look at ALOT of 69 Camaros, I now recall where Ive seen this car prior to this!
I saw it over near Irvine, I recall the suspension now... that it was rather overkill and now I know why: he was building it for this!
The suspension is really nice!
Got to look at this one again!

FYI: Camero is properly spelled: CAMARO....

That lever is tied into the brakes, allot like a steering brake on a sandrail.

yep its called a cutting brake. sand rails and offroad trucks use it to lock right wheels or left wheels only to make those killer hair pin turns on a dime or put it sideways into a slide.

I rode in a Baja VW bug with cutting brakes once. The owner/driver could go up a hill climb and hook one of the brakes right at the top to do like a pirouette. One second I'm seeing sky and thinking we'll catch air cresting the climb, the next we spin around and the front end flops back down the hill we just climbed. Better than any rollercoaster ride I've ever been on.
