Well i found a Unimog for sale and i MUST own it. So that brings up an interesting thing. How do i just generate $10,000. So im probly going to be getting a loan from my bank(Wells Fargo). Im just wondering if anyone has any insight on how hard it will be for me to get this. Im curently 21 employed by the Air Force and i have no credit. What type of loan should i get, an auto loan or a personal loan (will they even give me one?). Only problem whith an auto loan i can see is that you cant blue book a Unimog. And also what are average intrest rates and periods of paying and such. Thanks a bunch for any help, you guys can rest easy know that you helped Meep get his dream truck  8)

Seeing that you have no credit, they'll more than likely require a co-signer, i had to do the same for a student loan through Wells Fargo. No clue as to what rates are these days.

What year Mog? specs and what not would be great

I agree on the co signer, and also take with you a picture of the mog. They probably won't know what your talking about, and with a pic they can figure out what kind of loan is best.
And the intrest rate will probably be HIGH!!!!!
Good luck, and post those pics!! 8)

I agree on the Co-signer as well. With zero credit they make sure they have a loan covered. They may even ask for something to be put up as in lieu if your loan doesn't get paid (like another vehicle even). I am not familiar with Wells Fargo bank, as we do not have any thing like that here. However, a bank is a bank, and they like to make sure they come out ahead with every loan, regardless of the outcome.

Interest rates are fairly good at the moment, however there is always a chance they may go up, so stay alert and maybe ponder the option of locking a fixed rate in.

Do payments however you see fit, bi-weekly, monthly, semi annually, annually, it depends on what you want, either way it makes no difference though.

And lastly, tell the bank your going to plow snow or something with the unimog to generate cash flow. They like shit like that. Its better then telling them your going to play around in the mud with it.

Good luck, and post pictures! :D
